About Rev Bruce R.E. Sheasby
Rev. Bruce R. E. Sheasby was born in Vancouver, B.C and has always had a love for the pioneering Spirit of the West. He and his wife Sharon have a daughter Mary-Jane.
After obtaining his B.A. (high distinction) in Philosophy and Economics (U of Toronto, 1982), Bruce worked his way around the world for 41/2 years, an experience which sowed the seeds for God calling him into ministry. He obtained a Master’s of Divinity (Vancouver School of Theology, 1994) and then ministered in the United Church of Canada for 13 years.
Rev. Sheasby is the founding pastor of the Spiritual Community Church of the West.
Rev. Bruce’s passion is a Christ centered ministry, building spiritual bridges with the community at large. He feels that combining what you are excellent at doing with what you love doing is the key to discovering your God given mission. His ministry is focused on being a Spiritual movement of grace, hope and compassion, demonstrating the love of Jesus as Lord, Saviour and Friend. Rev. Bruce believes having faith can be fun.
