"Spiritual Community Church of the West" is inspired by Rev. Bruce Sheasby, founding pastor. Our message is to let Christ take hold of one’s heart. The Bible says "The secret is Christ is in you" (Colossians 1:27). Jesus says "The Kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21). Our practice is Christ centered Spirituality which is about actualizing the Christ within oneself and within community. Our purpose is to be about relationships and raising spiritual consciousness. Our mission is to encourage faith and wellness by tuning into a Spiritual reality which transcends traditional religious walls.

Federally Incorporated and Registered Charity
The Spiritual Community Church of the West is incorporated federally under the Canada Corporations Act. Our name, By-laws, Constitution and Objectives are approved and recognized by the government of Canada.
SCCW is also approved by the Government of Canada as a Registered Charity. Donors are issued with an official government recognized Charity Tax receipt.
Objectives
The objectives of our church corporation as registered with the Government of Canada are:
- To preach, promote and advance the teaching of Christianity by practicing the religious observances, tenants and doctrines associated with that faith.
- To support and maintain missions and missionaries in Canada and through the entire world in order to further the Christian faith. To provide counseling, physical and mental support, comfort and spiritual guidance to individuals with special needs.
- To establish and maintain a religious school of instruction for children, youth and adults.
- To relieve poverty in Canada and in developing countries by providing food and other basic supplies to persons in need.
- To further the gospel of Jesus Christ through the performing arts.
- To promote healing and wellness of the body, mind and spirit through educational retreats, seminars and conferences as well as literature.
- To acquire and hold land for the purposes of a place of worship and to accomplish the charitable object of this corporation.
- To operate a media center, including radio, television, printing or publishing, in order to distribute religious literature related to the charitable objects of this corporation.
- To provide ministry credentials to our officers and other ministers in order to further the charitable objects of this corporation.
- To accept donations, gifts, legacies and bequests for the purposes of promoting the charitable objects of this corporation.
